Baby and School

Here are some awesome pictures that I neglected to put in the previous post. These were all taken a while ago:

Yay for an exciting week!We certainly started off this year with some big new changes. By far the most exciting news this week was we found out that we are having a GIRL!!! We are both so excited. Breck came to the appointment with me and was holding my hand throughout the ultrasound. What a sweet and supportive husband! He was squeezing my hand like crazy when we found out that it was a girl. *Smiles all around * It was so much fun to see her kicking on the ultrasound and to feel it at the same time. She was so good and fairly cooperative.

In other news: as many of you may already know, I am student teaching this semester. My first day was on Tuesday. Right off the bat we had a faculty meeting and I was slightly intimidated. I was completely surrounded by older and more experienced teachers. They were very nice though. The students are pretty good and they were all interested when I introduced myself. I am simply amazed at all the technology that my cooperating teacher has! She has a smartboard (that can do powerpoints, and many other amazing things), I-clickers (automatic voting buttons on questions), and many test software programs so that her tests are on the computer! Wow... I had the impression that schools were still using overhead projectors... some probably still are, but I'm glad that I'm being exposed to so many things.
Here is a picture of my first day of school and the day of the ultrasound :)

Awww, Widdy!! So cute baby bump! Mine still looks like a spare tire, not so cute. By the way, I keep meaning to ask you if you've got a good stretch mark cream. I have one that I've used for all my pregnancies so far and it's FANTASTIC!! You might like it.

What a cutie! (love the shirt) I was way excited to hear that you guys are having a girl. Paul reminded me of when you guys were younger and he called it that you would have children before him and have a little girl that would look just like you! Hahaha, so far he hasn't been wrong.
That is great that you are doing well in your student teaching. I had no idea that they had that much technology in the classroom these days either. I bet you will learn all sorts of neat stuff!
